Williams Obstetrics 23rd edition --A Review.

I read a bit of the new edition of Williams Obstetrics. Indeed, it has been a good source for the obstetrics and gynecology students, residents and consultants for many years, but I began to think and to tell everyone that it lacks in some aspects. In the previous years, I have no voice yet because I was just a resident who just follow what others were talking about. In the present book, the authors still lack on the discussion of the criteria on the diagnosis of abdominal, ovarian and cervical pregnancies.  Honestly, I will prefer the Philippine textbook of Obstetrics and Gynecology by Sumpaico, et al because it is concise and comprehensive. Sumpaico's book also could be clearly understood by the   medical students who still has no qualms about the clinical world. The Williams Obstetrics, 23rd also failed to describe the maneuvers and terms we use and we need  in the performance of forceps extraction. I have yet to read all of the chapters, but the impression will definitely last. I have taken exams and the Sumpaico's book has made my scores better.

www.mylot.com is one of the websites I used to help me relieve my stress. It halps me somehow vent my feelings and relieve my self for a while. In so doing, it makes me relax and able to carry on the stress of residency training. It could also help me earn some cash, which is for a little kind of achievement.
